SCATTERGOOD FRIENDS SCHOOL AND FARM
The largest and oldest mission of Iowa Yearly Meeting (Conservative) is Scattergood Friends School and Farm near West Branch, Iowa. Founded in 1890 primarily to educate the children of Friends in the area, the Scattergood Middle School and four-year boarding high school includes students from across the nation and around the globe. The residential school campus is home to an organic farm, livestock, prairies and pond. Scattergood Friends School is a brave space, an all-gender, inclusive, small school for grades 6 through 12. Scattergood is a place where you can be who you are.
