Midyear Meeting, Fourth Month 18 & 19
IYMC's Midyear Meeting is being held this fourth month on the 18th and 19th, with the topic being "Quaker's Ink: From Broadsides to Blogs – 350 Years of Friendly Wordiness" with Eric Moon. The meeting is being held at the Bear Creek Meetinghouse near Earlham, Iowa (1 mile north and 1/4 east of Interstate 80, Earlham exit 104).Informational Flyer
AFSC Boycott Poster Exhibit to be held at Scattergood Friends School
You are invited to an extraordinary traveling exhibit of 58 posters depicting boycotts from more than 20 movements from the 1950s to the present. Sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee. Tthe opening reception for the exhibit will be held 3rd Month, 31, starting at 7:30 PM at the Scattergood Friends School and the exhibit will be up through Fourth Month, 11.

FCNL PUBLIC POLICY INSTITUTE and ANNUAL MEETING will be held in Washington November 20-23. There will be policy briefings, lobbying training and advocacy to support diplomatic negotiations with Iran. Parker Palmer, noted Quaker writer and lecturer, will be a featured speaker. Although the business meeting involves only FCNL General Committee persons, there will be workshops and activities for all who attend.
